Enjoy Crete: Sea Kayaking in Kalives

It is only a short distance from Chania city in western Crete.

If the group has limited or no experience with sea kayaking, the trip will cover a shorter distance of approximately 15 kilometres along a less exposed coastline. This modification ensures a safer and more enjoyable experience for participants.

Experienced rowers will have the opportunity to embark on a challenging linear journey, spanning from Kalives to the village of Georgioupolis, covering a distance of 27 kilometres. To participate in this longer trip, it is required that your skills be at level 3 or higher, as per the British Canoeing classification, as the route presents difficulties outside Souda Bay and Cape Drapanos.
