ABOUT
The tour begins at the local tourist office in Vamos, where you’ll follow your guide, Mr. Manolis, in your own vehicle through one of the greenest routes in the area, heading toward the village of Paidohori.
Once there, the walk takes you through an herb-rich area, filled with thyme, oregano, sage, and marjoram that will delight your senses and lead you to explore the garden of medicinal and aromatic plants. You’re even welcome to collect a few along the way!
Wander among olive trees, fruit trees, citrus trees, and a variety of other plants, breathing in their aromas and savoring their flavors!
After the walk, unwind and enjoy a light meal at the farm with locally sourced organic products prepared by Manolis and Christina, all while admiring the view of the Lefka Ori.
The tour is available daily by request (except Sundays) and includes local food and drink. It lasts 3-4 hours, with booking required one day in advance.

While here, visit Agios Georgios in Karidi to see the remains of an old olive mill from 1860, with its 12 arches and collapsed roof. The recently renovated monastery includes a designated area with information on its history.
