Our hike begins at the Gouverneto Monastery, situated at an altitude of 260 meters. Along the way, we encounter the Cave of Panagia Arkoudiotissa, home to the chapel of Theomitoros and the ancient Sanctuary of Artemis.
A short 10-minute walk further leads us to the Monastery of Saint John the Hermit, a peaceful and historic site steeped in legend.
This hike is suitable for children aged 12 and up, making it a great family-friendly activity.
