With a long tradition and history, Voukoliés is a village worth visiting.
Its Good Friday market is famous, with roots going back to the period of Turkish rule, and it continues to this day.
Many nature trails stretch across Voukoliés and its surrounding settlements. Starting from the settlement of Pano Kefala and taking the road towards Sembrona, you’ll reach a lush green area of exceptional natural beauty, with a river that flows year-round, forming small waterfalls.
From here begins a 6-kilometre path — a route (Vrysi Daskalou–Mitato Skoufidiano–Palaia Roumata) that every nature-loving visitor should explore.
