In a stunning location surrounded by lush greenery, you’ll find the village fountain of Vizari, Amari. This is perhaps one of the most beautiful fountains in the Amari region!
While its exact construction date remains unknown, preserved inscriptions confirm that it was renovated several times between the 19th and 20th centuries.
The fountain’s facade, with its elegant arch and refined design, is reminiscent of Venetian doorways with Renaissance influences. Beneath the cornice, you can spot structural elements adorned with folk reliefs, adding to its charm.
Today, visitors can admire the preserved stone basins, which were once used for watering animals or washing clothes.
