Rizikas: Among Olive and Carob Trees

Sadly, this beautiful, miniature village no longer has any inhabitants. You’ll find it nestled among olive trees and carob trees, at the southern foothills of Psiloritis, a location that likely gave the village its name.

At the centre of the settlement stands the church of Agios Panteleimonas, built during the Venetian period on the ruins of an older temple. From the same era is the small church of Agia Fotini, located a bit further south. However, this one survives only in a ruined state.
