Apostoli Pediados: A Village Nestled in the Plain

Cities & Villages

ABOUT

On the side of the Apostolian plain, you will find Apostoli, the Upper Village and the Lower Village.
It is worth visiting the ruined olive press located within the settlement.
You can stroll among the old houses, many of which showcase beautiful examples of 19th-century traditional architecture, with some featuring arches that add a noble touch.
The public fountain of the village stands out, a reconstruction from 1964 of an older fountain, probably built during the Ottoman period.

Visitors can also explore the churches of Panagia and Michael the Archangel in Upper Apostoli, and the frescoed, barrel-vaulted Byzantine church of Saint George in the Lower Village.
