Anapodari Gorge
ABOUT
The enchanting Anapodari Gorge gracefully winds along the course of its namesake river, extending over a length of approximately 9-10 kilometres.
The captivating Anapodari Gorge originates south of the picturesque settlement of Skinias and meanders its way towards the coastal region of Dermatos, where it gracefully meets the shores of the Libyan Sea.
As you venture into the Anapodari Gorge, you will be greeted by the sight of a well-preserved historical monument—the watermill or gorge mill—standing proudly at its entrance. As you continue your journey, a delightful surprise awaits you at Vigla—an ancient observatory perched along the path. Take a moment to catch your breath and immerse yourself in the panoramic view that unfolds before your eyes, allowing the beauty of the gorge to captivate your senses.
