On Sunday, May 4, 2025, the 13th Pedia Cycling Tour will take place, during which cyclists will follow a route passing through the villages of Apostoli, Sampas, Zofori, Voni, Galatas, and Thrapsano, finishing at the Livades Lake.
The start will be given at 11 a.m. at the building of the Apostolian Cultural Association of Pedia, while the finish line will be at Thrapsano Lake.
The cyclists will cover a distance of 18 kilometres, and the estimated duration of the cycling tour is about two hours (finishing time 13:00).

This is a sporting event that is being revived for the 13th consecutive year and offers a special opportunity to discover the villages and natural beauty of the area, bringing back images from another era when people used to move across the fertile plain by bicycle.
The aim of the event is the recreation of the participants, as well as their acquaintance with each other and with the interesting route, promoting an alternative means of transportation.

The 13th Pedia Cycling Tour is co-organised by the Cultural Association of Apostoli "The Apostles", the Active Citizens Associations of Sampas, Zofori, Voni, Galatas and Thrapsano, together with the Region of Crete and supported by the Municipality of Minoa Pediada.
