Agia Fotini and Agia Fotia
ABOUT
En route to Vai, a mere 7 kilometres from Sitia, you'll encounter the village of Agia Fotia, known for its stunning beaches.
The village gets its name from the church of Agia Fotini and holds significant archaeological interest.
Visitors can explore the Krifospilios Cave, which bears traces of ancient habitation, the chapel of Agia Fotini located outside the settlement, and the well-preserved old watermill.
Of course, taking a dip in the pebbled beach of the settlement at Glyfada Vrisi is a must.
