The name prepares us for the conditions within it. With scarce water almost throughout the year, Xerofaraggo, located 75km southeast of Heraklion, is ready to introduce you to an exhilarating canyoning experience.
Canyoning enthusiasts in Crete have visited this narrow gorge numerous times, as each visit rewards with its unique terrain, featuring high walls resembling sculptures.
Also known as Kallami II, as it lies next to the deserted village of Kallami, it boasts 13 rappels, the highest being 16 meters.
It serves as an amazing introduction to the activity of canyoning.
