ABOUT
The Museum of Traditional Music, Instruments, Research & Documentation "Thirathen" is located in the heart of Heraklion, at 9 Riga Feraiou Square, opposite the church of Saint Minas.
Here, traditional musical instruments from across Greece and the wider Mediterranean region are on display, brought to life before the visitor's eyes through an interactive and digital tour experience.
Additionally, the museum organizes a wide range of cultural events and activities, focusing on music and the broader spectrum of the arts.
