Catholic Parish of St John the Baptist

In the heart of Heraklion, just a short walk from the city’s Venetian port, tucked away in a small side street, you’ll find the Catholic Parish of St John the Baptist.
The church was built in 1962. It has a modest interior and follows the doctrines of the Catholic Church. At the centre of the nave stands the pulpit, adorned with a few religious icons.
The Feast Day of the Catholic Church of St John the Baptist is celebrated on June 24th.
