The Paleontological Museum of Rethymno (Temenos Mastampa), a branch of the Goulandris National History Museum, will remain closed to the public from April 10th, 2025.
Following an inspection by the Region of Crete, structural reinforcement works on the monument were deemed necessary.
After the completion of these works, a new announcement will follow regarding the reopening of the Museum.
