Exploring Creta: A Food Tour in Chania!

We begin at a central meeting point in Chania.
First stop: the famous traditional bougatsa of Chania, where the light saltiness of fresh cheese meets sugar in an ultra-crispy, thin pastry, accompanied by Greek coffee!
Next, a local herb expert will introduce you to herbal varieties from the Cretan mountains, known for their healing and relaxing properties.
We then head to the old town hall, where you’ll find a traditional "kaltsounadiko", a family-run workshop that prepares the beloved kaltsounia — handmade pies filled with cheese, greens, or both.
We continue with a visit to a local cheese shop, a branch of a well-known Cretan dairy producer, where you'll taste a variety of cheeses, made in modern facilities yet following traditional methods.
Walk towards the Old Venetian Harbor and enjoy a brief dive into the city’s history.
Under the shade of plane trees, we’ll taste dishes from the Sfakia region: the famous Sfakiani pie and the classic Dakos.
Stroll through the alleys of the town and enjoy a gyros with cold beer, and finally, end your tour with loukoumades and ice cream!
