ABOUT
The Chora Sfakion – Anopoli – Loutro trail is a fantastic power hiking route, combining a demanding ascent with an impressive descent through some of Crete’s most spectacular landscapes.
The route starts from the coastal village of Chora Sfakion and quickly leads you to a wild path that climbs towards the highlands of Anopoli.
The real highlight of the hike is the descent towards the peaceful village of Loutro, built at the base of a rocky hill and accessible only on foot or by boat.
Before completing your circular route, the trail takes you to Sweet Water Beach, a hidden gem nestled at the foot of the cliff.
