Diamantakis Winery is situated to the southwest of the city of Heraklion, nestled in the heart of the Malevizi province at an elevation of 450 metres, just outside the village of Kato Asites. The journey to the winery, passing through charming villages and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves on either side of the road, offers a truly magnificent experience. The area boasts a rich history in viticulture, as evidenced by the expansive vineyards that dot the landscape.
The family's objective is to cultivate grape varieties that can harmoniously complement the unique microclimate of the region and result in exceptional wines. The winery is dedicated to utilising local grape varieties like Vidiano, Liatiko, and Mandilaria, with a firm belief in their potential for future development and the creation of outstanding wines.
