Agios Antonios Gorge

This place is a beautiful gorge filled with lush greenery, adorned with enchanting waterfalls and magnificent plane trees.
The Agios Antonios Gorge can be found to the west of the village of Ano Asites. To enter the gorge, you'll need to follow a downhill path that begins next to the partially ruined Byzantine church of Agios Antonios. Along the path, there is a spring where you can find fresh drinking water. The gorge trail eventually leads you to the vicinity of Panagia Faneromeni in Kerasia.
It is part of the E4 European Path.
In this area, you can encounter 80 species of flora (4 of which are protected), 24 species of fauna (11 of which are protected), and 16 bird species (8 of which are protected).
