Preveli Bridge
ABOUT
Preveli is one of the most beautiful spots on the map of Crete.
It’s worth stopping by the arched bridge, which you’ll find on the way to the Preveli Monastery. In fact, monks from the monastery built it in the 18th century to allow local residents to safely cross the river during the winter months.
The arch measures 13.5 meters in length, 7 meters in height, and 4.5 meters in width.
This bridge is a true landmark of the area.
