Exploring Creta: Hiking through the Kourtaliotiko Gorge

The Kourtaliotiko Gorge is a spectacular and unique hiking destination, with its dramatic landscapes and the powerful flow of the Kourtaliotis River, which originates at an altitude of 500 meters. Spanning approximately 7 kilometers, the gorge carves its way through the rugged terrain, eventually forming Lake Preveli before emptying into the waters of the Libyan Sea.
