Keras Beach: An Ideal Retreat for Seclusion

ABOUT

To reach the beach, you need to turn onto a concrete road between Kalives and Almyrida, which leads you to the shoreline after a 500-metre stretch. The beach showcases a captivating blend of blonde sand and pebbles, set against the backdrop of towering rocks at its edges.

The sea in the area is characterised by its shallow depths and crystal-clear clarity. There are several options available nearby for accommodation and dining. It serves as an excellent choice for those seeking a more secluded and peaceful experience, away from crowded beaches. Towards the western side, you'll find a stunning elongated rock that locals affectionately refer to as ‘Karavos’ due to its resemblance to a ship.

The beach has derived its name from the nearby Church of Panagia Kera.

Additionally, there is a small canteen available to cater to the basic needs of beachgoers and holidaymakers.
