Kera: A Blend of Faith, Tradition, and Culinary Delights

Formerly a village known for its milling activities, it has now gained recognition for the exceptional quality of oil produced by its residents.

The village is nestled in a lush valley with plentiful spring waters, offering a picturesque panoramic view.

From the top of Karfi hill, one can marvel at the boundless beauty of the surroundings. 

Just outside the settlement of Kato Kera, you will come across the Church of Zoodochos Pigi. Above the church, there is a rock where it is believed that the figure of the Virgin Mary is depicted.

One can explore the Embasa Gorge, which is a tributary of the Ambelos Gorge, by taking a scenic walk through its captivating landscapes.

Traditional dishes accompanied by raki are offered in the cafés of the village.
