1st Stop: Panagia Kera

Panagia Kera, also known as Kardiotissa, is a historic monastery worth visiting. It's not just a religious site but also a beautiful location to soak in some peace and serenity.

Begin your day by lighting a candle in this sacred space.

After visiting the monastery, take a stroll through the village of Kera, named after the church.

Give yourself time to admire the breathtaking views.

If you're lucky enough to visit during the winter months, you might even see some snow blanketing the landscape!

2nd Stop: Krasi and its Famous Plane Tree

Just a short drive away, you’ll find Krasi, a village rich in history.

The renowned Cretan writer Nikos Kazantzakis had strong ties to this place.

In the village square, you’ll encounter a plane tree unlike any other.

For lunch, stop by "Krasopsychia," a charming taverna-grocery.

Here, you can savor authentic Cretan cuisine, with dishes like wood-fired roasted meat and their signature salad.

Don’t forget to pick up some local aromatic herbs as a souvenir before you leave!

3rd Stop: Malia for Some Nightlife

Your final stop is Malia, a destination that’s alive year-round. Whether you arrive in the afternoon or evening, you’ll find plenty to do. Take a leisurely walk along the main street or the beachfront avenue, and enjoy one of the many cafés or bars offering drinks into the late hours.
