ABOUT
Kavousi is a village teeming with numerous attractions and is renowned for the monumental olive tree found in Azoria.
Like any self-respecting village, Kavousi's square hosts traditional cafés, while the churches of Agios Georgios and the Twelve Apostles stand prominently.
There are also numerous churches open to visitors, as well as guesthouses in the vicinity.
On the list of noteworthy sights are the ruins of the church of St John, constructed by a hermit during the early Byzantine period within a cave west of the village, which culminates in a small cove by the sea.
