An exhibition dedicated to the legendary Mikis Theodorakis (1925–2021) is currently on display in Chania, co-organized by the Music Library of Greece “Lilian Voudouri” and the Association of Friends of Music. This remarkable showcase runs until December 31, 2025.

The exhibition was first presented in 2005 at the Center of Mediterranean Architecture to celebrate the composer’s 80th birthday, under the title “Mikis Theodorakis: 80 Years.” It features rare documents and memorabilia from the Mikis Theodorakis Archive and the Music Library of Greece “Lilian Voudouri.” Curated by musicologist Valia Vraka and historian Tasos Sakellaropoulos, with artistic direction by Dimitris Antonakakis, the exhibition has since evolved, with an updated version displayed in 2022 as part of the 6th Mikis Theodorakis Festival.

Today, this immersive tribute is hosted at the family home of Giannis and Mikis Theodorakis in Chania. Curated by Lefteris Lambrakis, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity for students and visitors to delve into the life and legacy of one of Greece’s most iconic figures.
