On Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Mountaineering Club of Agios Nikolaos is organizing a circular hike on the southwestern side of Lassithi.

"The hike will start from the picturesque village of Mythi. Following a Minoan path, we will head north and ascend continuously to reach the small Minó plateau, offering stunning views of Selakano. A significant portion of the route passes through a beautiful pine forest. The return will be via a different, easier, downhill path," say the club members.

Essential Gear:

• Hiking boots
• Trekking poles
• Warm clothing appropriate for the season

• From Agios Nikolaos, at 24 Karamanli Street (S/M Vasilopoulos)
• Time: 7:30 AM

• Approx. 6 hours (excluding necessary breaks)

• 14,700 meters

• 800 meters
