The Heraklion Philharmonic Orchestra promises a festive program filled with lively rhythms, featuring musical walks on Tsiknopempti (Thursday, February 20) and Friday, February 21, as well as two concerts on Tuesday, February 25, and Thursday, February 27. These events are part of the Carnival festivities organized by the Municipality of Heraklion’s Department of Culture.

Tsiknopempti Musical Promenade – Thursday, February 20

Starting at 7:00 PM from Eleftherias Square, the Philharmonic Orchestra will lead a joyful procession through the city. The route includes Dikeosinis Street, a pause at Daskalogiannis Square, a brief stop at Lions Square, and concludes on Idis Street.

Friday Musical Promenade – February 21

At 11:00 AM, the musical walk begins at Eleftherias Square and continues through Daidalou Street, stopping at Lions Square. From there, it moves along T. Tzoulaki, Idis, 1821, and Kosmon Streets, ending at the Bembo Fountain in Kornarou Square.

Evening Concerts – February 25 and 27

On Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM, the Philharmonic Orchestra will perform two open-air concerts on Dikeosinis Avenue, near Daskalogiannis Square, capturing the festive spirit of the season.
