Registrations are now open for the 28th Koudoumas Cross-Country Race and Hiking Event, which will be held on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025 (Start time: 10:00 – Sternes).

Date: Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025 – Start time: 10:00
Starting point: Sternes (The route is mountainous and challenging, with 9 km uphill and 13.5 km downhill, dirt road)
Finish line: Holy Monastery of Koudoumas

Participation in the race is free of charge.
All participants compete under their own medical responsibility.
For underage athletes, a recent medical certificate and signed parental consent form are required – without these, participation will not be allowed.

The time limit for runners is 3 hours. For the above winner categories to be valid, at least 4 athletes must participate in each category.
Hikers must carry a small backpack with water.

Awards: Trophies, medals, and commemorative diplomas for the top three in each category.
All athletes will receive a commemorative medal, participation diploma, t-shirt, and cap.
Hikers will receive a participation diploma, t-shirt, and cap.

Award Ceremony: 12:30 at the Holy Monastery of Koudoumas.
Meal: A meal will follow the awards in the courtyard of the Monastery.
