"Forms of the Past, Forms of the Present" is the title of the new group exhibition at the Museum of Visual Arts of Heraklion (METI), opening on Saturday, March 29, 2025, and running through Friday, April 25, 2025, at the venue located at 3 Nymfon Street in Poros.

Under this title, the exhibition will feature works from the METI collection, chosen for their shared characteristics and distinct artistic quality, which together create a unified whole that highlights the expressive styles of the participating artists.

In this way, METI, constantly seeking to present rotating selections from its collection, once again succeeds in showcasing part of its holdings, enhancing the value and significance of both the works and the collection itself. At the same time, it aims to emphasize the range of expressive media in each piece—be it a portrait or a depiction of the human body, in full or partial form.
