In the central square of Krya Vrysi, a charming village in the heart of the Agios Vasilios Municipality, you’ll find the traditional café "I Platia" (The Square).
The moment you lay eyes on it and choose a seat at one of its tables, you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time. Expect to be greeted with a warm raki and a selection of simple, yet delicious meze, offered generously by the owners, Papagiannis and his wife, Haroula.
If you’re craving something special, you can call ahead to request house specialties like sautéed snails (chochlious boubouristous), boiled pilaf with pasta and fresh anthotyro cheese, or tender roasted lamb. They’ll make sure everything is ready for you!
The village square, home to the Church of Saint Nicholas, is the perfect spot to let your kids play freely while you relax.
