Preveli: Embrace Exotic Beauty at One of the Country's Finest Beaches

Preveli beach can be accessed from land either from the east or the west. If you're coming from Plakias, you can drive to the large car park near the monastery and then follow the path that leads to the beach. The walking distance from the car park down to the beach is approximately 15 minutes, although it may take longer when climbing back up. However, the return journey might feel demanding, as the road is quite steep.

Alternatively, you can also access Preveli Beach from Ammoudi Beach. From the large bridge of Megalos Potamos, there is a dirt road that leads to the nearby Drimiskiano Ammoudi. You can park your vehicle at Ammoudi and then take a short 5-minute walk along the path that leads directly to Preveli Beach. 

Additionally, Preveli Beach can be reached by boat from both Agia Galini and Plakias.

Adding to its charm, there is a welcoming taverna that serves visitors during the summer months.
