Agia Fotia Tavern: Sand and Gastronomy!
ABOUT
In Kerame, a magical place in the Municipality of Agios Vasileios, reach where the waves crash. Take a swim at Agia Fotini Beach and then sit down for seafood at the Agia Fotia Tavern.
Once, the place was a storage for carob beans. It started as a café-meze bar in the 1960s and has now passed to the third generation of the Perakis family.
Don't forget to order their special salad, with artichokes, bulbs, walnuts, figs, rusks, and capers. If you prefer seafood, order grilled shrimp and octopus, or ouzo shrimp with linguine. When the weather permits and the fishermen have a good catch, you'll find dentex, grouper, and red mullet on the menu.
If you prefer meat, try carob pasta with apaki chicken, local grilled goat cheese, and end your meal sweetly with homemade mizithropitakia and hortopitakia!
The tavern supports local producers and fishermen, while the olive oil and raki are produced by the family.
