Ombrosgialos in Sfakia: The Beach Adjacent to the Port

To the east of the beach, you'll find green algae, which are a result of the fresh water that gushes from the ground. The area may not be very well-equipped with amenities and is usually not the preferred spot for swimmers, mainly because of its proximity to the port. However, Ombrosgialos still boasts clear blue waters and a pebbly shoreline. At the top of the beach, there's a striking Heroes' Monument adorned with cannons and offering stunning views of the surroundings.
