Mochos Folklore Museum

In the semi-mountainous village of Mochos in Heraklion, you’ll find a true treasure of cultural heritage: the Mochos Folklore Museum. This charming space invites visitors to journey back in time, exploring the rich displays that capture the everyday life and occupations of the village’s past inhabitants.

A visit to the museum can be perfectly paired with a delightful family outing in the surrounding area. Open from May to September on a daily basis, the museum welcomes guests and operates by appointment from October to April (with at least two days' notice required).
