Under the motto "Towards Koules. Be Part of History," the 1st Candia Koules Run will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

In their invitation, the organizers state:
“Young and old, come walk or run with us!
The race will start from the Karavolas Bridge and finish at our Venetian fortress, Koules.
At the finish line, DJ Themis Markakis will welcome us with fantastic music, along with delightful treats!
This route is designed to inspire you to enjoy a Sunday by the sea and our iconic castle in a truly special way.
This initiative is part of a series of actions by our volunteer team to raise awareness about education and sports in our community.”

• Registrations will also be open on the day of the event at 10:00 a.m. at the Karavolas amphitheater.

The first 100 participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt as a gift for joining the 1st Candia Koules Run!

Additionally, in the week leading up to the event, you’ll have the chance to witness artist Niki Gkoranova creating a live mural of the event’s poster on a wall along the breakwater!

This event is organized by the Volunteer Team for Education and Sports of the "Right to the City" initiative, led by Alexis Kalokairinos.
