Sigá Sigá: Traditional Flavors and Serving ...Slowly!
ABOUT
Sigá Sigá Café is located in the heart of Heraklion, just below Theotokopoulos Park. Since 1999, it has been serving you exactly as envisioned by its creator, Kostas Mitsopoulos—slowly!
Groups build memories under the shade of the thick bougainvillea in the summer and spend the winter under the classic mural of the tavern painted by Steve Sacatos in the interior. The space is filled with frames and photographs, while the walls "listen" to stories from the bohemian figures of the city.
In this warm and familiar environment, you will enjoy special dishes such as pork with Cretan greens and skioufihta with pancetta, and you will feel the Cretan hospitality.
Sigá Sigá maintains the philosophy that established it. Delicious traditional recipes, well-cooked dishes, and hearty appetizers, all made with passion and pure ingredients.
At the end, the loukoumades are on the house!
The tip of Local!
Head down to the waterfront and visit the Historical Museum of Crete. Just a few meters further, you'll find the Natural History Museum.
