Ellinoperamata Beach, also known as Linoperamata, is a bustling destination situated very close to the city of Heraklion. Located 8 kilometres west of Heraklion and west of the mouth of the Almyros River, the beach attracts a steady flow of visitors due to its proximity to the city.
