Kedrodasos (Cedar Forest): An Earthly Paradise

The beach falls within the protected area of the Natura 2000 Network, characterised by an abundance of cedar trees that lend their name to the beach. Reaching the beach requires a car journey of over two hours. It is important to exercise caution on the road, as the conditions may not be ideal. To get to the beach, you’ll need to navigate a challenging path. The 20-minute hike is rocky, dusty, and full of shrubs, so be sure to wear sturdy shoes and only carry the essentials.

What sets the cedar forest apart is its status as one of the few remaining untouched paradisiacal beaches. The juxtaposition of the white sand amidst the rare cedar environment creates a truly unique landscape. The icy and crystal-clear waters, which retain their pristine quality for the majority of the year, offer visitors an incredible and unforgettable sight.
