South Crete Safari: From Matala to Agiofarago and Vathi Beach

Commencing with the South Crete Safari, departing from the pickup location in Matala at 9 am, you traverse through the villages of Sivas and Listaros, eventually arriving at the venerable Monastery of Odigitria.

From there, the off-road safari journey continues towards the renowned Agiofarago Beach.

Following your swim, the itinerary proceeds to the village of Sivas, where you will enjoy a traditional lunch at the finest taverna. Post-lunch, the journey continues along the coastal route with another off-road adventure to the secluded Vathi Beach. Situated within a sheltered cove, Vathi beach is typically shielded from the wind, offering tranquil waters. Access is challenging for regular vehicles due to the rugged terrain, resulting in a quieter beach experience. Ample time will be available for beach enjoyment and swimming before concluding the excursion and returning to the Matala pickup point at approximately 6 pm.
