In the village of Zaros, in the municipality of Faistos, you’ll find the restaurant Veggera. More than just a dining spot, it offers cooking classes focused on authentic Cretan recipes.
Designed for groups of 6 to 30 people, the three-hour cooking sessions take place in the restaurant and provide a hands-on introduction to the simplicity and healthiness of Cretan food. The aim is to ensure you have a great time while feeling completely at ease, as though cooking in your own home.
After the class, you’ll sit down to enjoy the dishes you’ve prepared, paired with a glass of good wine, and soak in the convivial atmosphere.
The cost is €40 per person and includes the meal and wine.
