Veggera: Cooking class at Vaggelis and Maria's home in Zaros

In the picturesque village of Zaros, in the Municipality of Faistos, you can participate in a unique cooking class! The class takes place in the cozy home of Vaggelis and Maria, a welcoming couple eager to share the secrets of Cretan gastronomy, renowned for its positive impact on health.

Over the course of this 4-hour session, you’ll cook alongside locals, starting by picking fresh vegetables from their garden and using mountain herbs and olive oil straight from Crete’s fertile land. Together, you’ll prepare five delicious Cretan dishes, which you’ll savor as a group at the table, accompanied by homemade wine and tsikoudia.

The class is designed for small groups of 2–4 people, priced at €40 for adults and €15 for children.
