‘Agios Georgios’ General Hospital of Chania
The ‘Agios Georgios’ General Hospital of Chania, with a capacity of 450 beds has been operational since 1st September 2000 in its modern facilities located in Mournies, Chania. These facilities encompass an impressive 49,400 square metres of covered area.
The hospital offers an extensive range of primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare services, ensuring equal access for every citizen, regardless of their economic, social, or professional status.
The Mental Health Centre of Chania operates independently, serving the community with high attendance and a wide range of activities through its own organisation. It also provides services to various other organisations and institutions within the Prefecture.
