The Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS) and EAS SEGAS Crete, in collaboration with the Region of Crete and the Municipality of Heraklion, with ERGO Insurance as the main sponsor and local sponsors including Minoan Lines, the Association of Tourist and Travel Agencies of Crete, and Chalkiadakis Super Markets, are organizing the 12th Run Greece Heraklion on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

🏃‍♂️ Registrations for runners and walkers have already begun, and once again, people across Crete are signing up in large numbers, as participation is open to anyone from 7 years old and up!

Race Schedule – Distances – Participation Criteria

🕙 10:00 – 10km Race: Open to participants born in 2010 and earlier

🕦 11:15 – Family Run (600m):

• Primary school students (Grades A, B, C) – Born in 2016, 2017, 2018
• People with Disabilities (No age limit)
  (Each child and participant with disabilities must be accompanied by an adult)

🕦 11:30 – Children's Race (1,100m):

• Primary school students (Grades D, E, F) – Born in 2013, 2014, 2015

🕦 11:45 – 5km Race & Power Walking:

• Open to participants born in 2013 and earlier

🏅 Participation in the Children's Race and Family Run is free for all participants.

💶 Participation Fee for the 5km and 10km Races:

• €10 (General Fee)
• €5 (For students under 18 & university students registering as part of a group of at least 10 participants)
