Sailing from Agios Nikolaos to Elounda!

Sailing and the Agios Nikolaos Municipality are closely intertwined.

Beginning at Agios Nikolaos Marina, you can discover Elounda, one of the most vibrant destinations on the island. By following the coastline of Agios Nikolaos and passing by All Saints Island, you enter Elounda Bay, where Glaronisi is situated. Within this bay lies Krios Beach, which is exclusively accessible by boat.

Continuing onwards, you reach one of the most northern points of the municipality, guided by the Aforesmenos Lighthouse. As you make your way back, you'll encounter numerous caves and hidden beaches with remarkably clear waters, adding beauty to the vast expanse of the sea. Notably, you'll come across the renowned Barbarossa Cave, only a short distance away from the charming tavernas of Plaka and the picturesque villages.
