Hiking Around Lake Agios Nikolaos

The lake of Agios Nikolaos in the city centre is the most renowned attraction for both visitors and locals in Agios Nikolaos.

Today, the circular lake of Agios Nikolaos, measuring 137 metres in diameter, serves as the trademark of the city, and is surrounded by numerous cafés and restaurants. The serene lake, adorned with ducks, fishing boats, and lush slopes, provides a peaceful retreat and picturesque scenes.

Here begins a brief stroll through the city centre, stretching to the municipal stadium, Ammoudi Beach, the municipal car park, the city marina, Kitroplatia Beach with its cafés and restaurants, and concludes back at the lake.
