Creta's Happy Divers: Diving Adventures at Seagull Island, Kolokitha

Located just 5 miles from the port of Agios Nikolaos is the seagull island of Kolokitha, where Creta's Happy Divers offers diving services in the southern bay of this small island. This area provides a pleasant diving experience, offering the chance to explore various dive sites based on weather conditions and your level of experience. It's a sheltered location, ensuring protection from wind and waves.

This area offers a range of diving sites, some suitable for beginners and others exclusively for experienced divers.

The boat anchors at a depth of 5-7 metres. During the initial 20 minutes, you'll reach a wall with depths ranging from 14 to 20 metres. Here, you'll encounter white groupers, moray eels, sea bream, sponges, and sea anemones.

On the return journey to the boat, you'll navigate through a narrow underwater gorge. The entrance to the gorge is at a depth of 14 metres, and the exit is at 6 metres. The most captivating moment of the dive occurs approximately 10 minutes before resurfacing, at a depth ranging from 14 to 8 metres, where a group of friendly barracuda swim alongside you.
