Holy Metropolis of Gortys and Arcadia

The Apostolic Holy Metropolis of Gortys and Arcadia was the birthplace of the Christianisation of Crete. In antiquity, Gortys became the focal point of missionary efforts led by the Apostles Paul and Titus.
