Medical School, University of Crete

The Medical School of the University of Crete was established in 1983 and admitted its first students in 1984. In 1989 it moved to its new campus which is one of the biggest medical and research complexes in Greece located about 7 km from Heraklion.

The School of Medicine offers several Postgraduate Programmes leading to a Master’s degree. Eligible candidates should be graduates of the Faculties of Medicine, Sciences and related disciplines.

PhD programs in the University of Crete School of Medicine are exclusively research based on a specific subject depending on the student's background and research interests.
