Institute of Computer Science

The Institute of Computer Science (ICS), one of the ten research institutes of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), engages in both basic and applied research. It holds a prominent position in advancing the Information Society at both national and international levels. Additionally, the institute promotes education and training by imparting knowledge to numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students through scholarships and participation in research programmes. Its key attributes include research excellence, an interdisciplinary approach, and a steadfast commitment to transferring research findings and technologies to industry and society at large.
