Prassa: With a sea view!

On the road from Heraklion to Karteros, one encounters the settlement of Prassa. It is built on a small hill and offers a beautiful view of the sea.
Initially, it functioned as a metochi (small farm) of the villages of Avdou and Gonies in the Municipality of Chersonissos.
The village church celebrates on March 25th, and every year many faithful come to honor it and light a candle.
In the area operates the Prassa Cultural and Ecological Association, whose members organize cultural events every summer, always providing a reason for celebration!
